Compiled By The Woman's Home Missionary Society Of The First Methodist Episcopal Church, Knoxville, Tennessee, 1895. Ogden Bros & Co, Printers And Stationers, Knoxville, Tenn. 1895. Nicely bound in cloth covered boards. The recipes look tasty, but the real value of this books is in all the large ads of Knoxville businesses. East Tennessee Coal Co. has an ad right on the front. We count about thirty-one ads and all but a couple seem to be Knoxville businesses. Of special note is a half page from Geo. F. Barber & Co, Architects. Mr. Barber was one of the first "mail order" architects in the country. Other advertisers include Chapman, White, Lyons Co. and their National Baking Powder; Allen, Stephenson & Co., Furniture and Carpets at 623 and 625 Gay Street; Mester, Newcomer & Co., Drygoods; Hope Bros., silver and china at 519 Gay Street; S.
