You may merely surf these offerings at your leisure, or with your browser's word search (under Edit > Find for most), look for specific interests in several different ways:

2. By geographic location such as state, city, region, etc.
3. By date
4. By subject
5. All of the above, in turn. We have tried to school ourselves to mention these pertinent facts when writing the descriptive copy. We haven't been entirely successful in every case, but we are getting better and   hope there is enough detail to help you close in on your favored items.

When searching by subject, keep in mind that many selections have a wide array of merchandise. Examples of these would be the wholesale hardware houses, major mail order companies, and department stores.

These offerings include catalogues and advertising material from manufacturers, jobbers, retail establishments, mail order houses; trade and professional journals; books; materials about the settlement of the West, medical quackery and phrenology; event posters and broadsides; 19th century woodcuts; and much more. The whole comprises a fantastic look at how we were, how we are, and how we will be in the community of mankind. When you make your selections, you may:

1. Telephone at 931-484-7680. Voice mail hours are 0800 Hrs (8:00 A.M.) to 2100 Hrs (9:00 P.M.), Central Time, seven days. On voice calls, if machine answers, please leave your name, phone number, time of your call, title and item number(s) (first five digits) of selection(s).
2. Fax at 931-484-7680. Fax number is operational twenty-four hours.
3. E-mail any time at hillcrestbooks@frontiernet.net Please include:
   • Name (if credit card order, exact name on card)
   • Complete shipping address
   • If credit card order, complete address to which card is billed if different from shipping address
   • Daytime phone number
   • E-mail address
   • Item number (first five digits)
   • Title of selection
   • Payment type

If you contact us by e-mail, we will send a confirmation by e-mail. If you are sending a check or money order, we will hold your selection for seven days only for arrival of your payment.
